"In the first few weeks of my classes at UWG, I felt like I had made more connections than I had done in an entire year at my previous school. At UWG, I was more than a number."

“Every university has a curriculum and a list of ideas and concepts they’ll teach you, but UWG helped me find my focus for what I want to do after college.”

“Age is not that big of a factor. In order to be successful, you need to feel comfortable.”

"As a first-generation student, that feeling of comfort at UWG really helped,” Sudduth said. “The chemistry department is like a family. It’s a second home.”

“I’ve had faculty members believe in me in a way that several years ago, I wouldn’t have believed in it myself. They’ve encouraged me to be an advocate and speak up.”
