Commencement Livestream

All ceremonies will be live-streamed and will be recorded for viewing after the ceremony.

Save the date! The University of West Georgia is pleased to announce we will host the Fall 2023 Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, December 9th, at The Coliseum.

Students are assigned a ceremony based on their Degree Level and/or College and will be announced at a later date.

All Fall 2023 Marching Graduation Candidates should carefully review the Marching Students Information page for comprehensive information on when & where to arrive and expectations for the commencement ceremony.

  • No Tickets will be issued or required for entrance to the Commencement Ceremonies. All seating will be general admission.

Cap and Gown Orders

Students who order their gowns through Herff Jones can expect their orders to ship within 4 weeks from purchase. The Herff Jones website is currently available for Fall 2023 orders.

The deadline to order from Herff Jones for Fall 2023 is Friday, November 3, 2023.

Dates are subject to change.

Graduation announcements may be ordered through UWG Print Services or Herff Jones.

For Fall 2023 Announcement orders through UWG Print Services, orders to be shipped must be placed by November 27, 2023. Announcement orders to be picked up on campus must be placed by December 4, 2023.
