The UWG Center for Research has several research facilities available for you and your team by appointment. 


These facilities are available to faculty, staff, and students who are working on a research project and looking for a place to conduct their research, analyze their data, prepare their reports and data visualizations, or collaborate with their team. We also have a small library of books on research methods, software, and statistics that are available to researchers while using the facilities. Contact us to register to use the space and to request specific blocks of time for your access. We will ensure appropriate safety measures are in places for all researchers using these facilities.

    Analytics Research Hub

    The Analytics Research Hub includes two computers and a wall monitor, along with specialized quantitative data analysis software.

    We also have specialized books and training materials to help with your research.

  • Restricted Access Data Research Hub

    Restricted Access Data Research Hub

    The Restricted Access Data Research Hub is a facility for researchers who need to be able to work with data that cannot be made publicly accessible or needs to be protected. We will work with you to set up any necessary protocols for you to store and utilize your data in this facility. We can also work with you to complete your IRB application, including the request to have access to restricted access data to help describe the facility and the protocols we have in place to protect your data.

  • Qualitative Research Hub

    Qualitative Research Hub

    The Qualitative Research Hub includes a cluster of three computers with software for analyzing qualitative data, a scanner/copier, and an area for conducting qualitative interviews, and additional qualitative research hardware.

    The Data Visualization Research Hub includes two computers and a wall monitor, along with specialized data visualization software. We also have specialized books and training materials to help with your research.
