The College of Arts and Humanities (COAH) Graduate Studies Fellowship supports underrepresented minority students seeking master’s degrees in English, History, and Music. This initiative extends from COAH and the Graduate School’s commitment to the University of West Georgia value of inclusiveness. It aims to help increase the number of underrepresented minority students who complete graduate degrees in the college.
Selected students will receive:
• $1,000 to use for professional development, conference travel, books, and/or supplies.
• Out-of-state tuition waiver if needed
• Mentoring opportunities and support from English, History, and Music faculty members
• Leadership initiatives through the College of Arts and Humanities, the UWG Graduate School, and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion
