The Mathematics Program offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in mathematics in four distinct tracks—1) traditional, 2) applied, 3) statistics/actuarial science, and 4) UTeach secondary education. Some career opportunities are listed below for each respective track.

The Department also offers mathematics minors in two areas—1) traditional and 2) statistics. Our students are encouraged to remain intellectually curious throughout their program matriculation and on into their adult lives upon graduation. Thus, our mathematics tracks ensure that our students will emerge as well-rounded, problem-solving, strategic thinkers and become influential contributors to society.
