Professional Practice
Professional Practice Programs are a student’s opportunity to gain practical experience in their major and/or chosen career field. These programs are important in that they help build student’s résumé, they help in building contacts, they help the student clarify their career goals, and they give the student first hand experience in the field.
Professional Practice Programs are composed of two main components: Cooperative Education and Internship opportunities. While these two components are similar, they also have some significant differences.
