The Director for Career Services is Wanda McGukin.  Ms. McGukin has been with the University of West Georgia since 1986 and with the Department of Career Services since 1995. 

In addition to Ms. McGukin's other professional involvements, she is currently serving as Past-President for the Southeastern Asssociation for Employment in Education.  Resume.

The Assistant Director for Student Employment is Audrey Baird.  Ms. Baird has been with Career Services since 1988.  She works with students to find part-time, temporary, and seasonal jobs.  She coordinates the Student Research Assistant Program (SRAP) and places students in the Federal Work Study Program.  She also handles the American Reads Program and  Community Service work programs.

In addition to her other professional involvements, Ms. Baird is serving as President of the Southeastern Association for Student Employment Administrators during the 2002 year along with serving on the Board for the national association.  Resume.

The Assistant Director for Co-ops, Internships and Volunteering is Vicki Hardin. She joined the University of West Georgia in 2004. She assists students, faculty, staff, and alumni in finding volunteer, internships and co-op opportunities in the West Georgia area as well as other areas of the country. Ms. Hardin also assists graduating education majors and arts and science majors preparing for their job searches, coordinates Teacher Interview Day and volunteer fairs.

In addition to Ms. Hardin's professional involvements, she is also membership chairman for the Southeastern Association for Employment in Education and a member of the Carrollton Lions Club.
